The 386 Series Wood Shell Snatch Blocks are high-quality rigging products specifically designed for use with Manila rope. These blocks combine the traditional benefits of wood shell construction with the convenience of a snatch block design, allowing for quick rope insertion.
Engineering & Technical Standards
- Safety Integrity: Every block in the 386 series is manufactured to a strict 4:1 Design Factor.
- Premium Materials: The shells are crafted from Santa Maria Hardwood, a material selected for its favorable properties in wood block applications.
- Sheave Specifications: Blocks feature sheaves with bronze bushings manufactured to SAE40 specifications.
- Self-Lubrication Option: Units can be supplied with self-lubricating graphite bronze sheave bushings per ASTM B438.
- Forged Hardware: All block accessories and fittings are forged to ensure maximum structural reliability.
