Sea Link Heavy Duty Wood Shell Blocks

The 200 Series Heavy Duty Non-Toppling Wood Shell Blocks are engineered for stability and high-capacity performance in demanding rigging environments. Like the 100 series, these blocks are constructed from Santa Maria Hardwood, which offers favorable material properties for wood shell block service. They are built to a 4:1 Design Factor and feature forged accessories for maximum reliability.

Technical Specifications & Construction
  • Bearing Standards: Sheaves are standard-fitted with bronze bushings manufactured to SAE40 specifications.
  • Self-Lubrication Option: Blocks can be supplied with self-lubricating graphite bronze sheave bushings per ASTM B438.
  • Stability Design: The series is specifically designed with a non-toppling configuration to maintain proper orientation during use.
  • Configurations: Available in Single, Double, and Triple Sheave models.
  • Fitting Options: Standard configurations include:
    • No Fitting (NF).
    • Shackle (S).
    • Available with or without a Becket (NB)
